Scope: This policy covers personal data processed via coffeedant.com (no apps; no user accounts).

1) Summary (plain English)

  • We run a content + affiliate site.
  • We don’t sell products, don’t run ads/retargeting, and don’t run user accounts.
  • We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregated traffic.
  • If you post a comment or email us, we’ll process that information to operate the Site and reply.
  • We do not “sell” or “share” your personal information as defined by the California CPRA.
  • EU/UK users: we use GA4 with Consent Mode and IP anonymization; analytics cookies are not set until you consent.

2) What we collect

Automatically via GA4 (analytics):

  • Device and event data (e.g., pageviews, approximate location by city/region, language, device/browser, referrer), with IP anonymization in EU/UK/EEA.
  • GA4 may set cookies or use similar tech unless disabled by consent or browser settings.

If you comment:

  • Display name, email (not publicly shown), IP (for anti-spam/abuse), your comment content, and timestamps.

If you email us:

  • Email address, message content, and any info you choose to share.

We do not collect: payment data, government IDs, or sensitive categories.

3) Why we collect it (purposes & legal bases)

  • Operate & secure the Site (fraud/spam prevention, uptime, troubleshooting).
    • Legal bases (EU/UK): legitimate interests.
  • Analytics & performance (understand what content users read to improve the Site).
    • Legal bases (EU/UK): consent for analytics cookies; legitimate interests for aggregated, cookieless signals where applicable.
  • Community features (publish and moderate comments).
    • Legal bases (EU/UK): legitimate interests; consent where required by local law.
  • Communications (respond to your emails/requests).
    • Legal bases (EU/UK): legitimate interests or performance of a contract if applicable.
  • Legal compliance (enforce Terms, respond to lawful requests).
    • Legal bases (EU/UK): legal obligation, legitimate interests.

4) Cookies & tracking

  • We use GA4. In regions requiring consent (EU/UK/EEA), we use Consent Mode so non-essential analytics cookies are blocked until you opt in; IP anonymization is enabled.
  • You can control cookies in your browser. If you enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar, we treat it as an opt-out/deny for non-essential tracking where applicable.
  • We do not use ad/retargeting pixels.

5) Data sharing

We may share personal data with:

  • Service providers (only what’s necessary to run the Site), such as our analytics provider (Google) and hosting/anti-spam services for comments.
  • Legal & safety: if required by law or to protect our rights/users.
    We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6) International transfers

We operate from North Macedonia and use providers that may process data in other countries (e.g., the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and minimize the data we send (e.g., IP anonymization).

7) Data retention

  • GA4 analytics data: retained up to 14 months (or less where configured by region).
  • Comments: kept as long as the comment remains published or until you request deletion.
  • Emails: generally kept up to 24 months after the thread ends, unless needed longer for legal reasons.
    We delete or anonymize data when it’s no longer needed.

8) Your rights

EEA/UK: You may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and to object to processing (including withdrawing consent for analytics).
California (CPRA): You may know, delete, correct data and opt-out of sale/share (we do not sell/share). We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information. No discrimination for exercising rights.
How to exercise: Email ace@growthradical.com. We may need to verify your identity. You can also withdraw analytics consent via your cookie settings (where available) or by using GPC.

9) Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures (HTTPS, role-limited access, provider security controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10) Children’s privacy

The Site is for 13+ and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal data for children. If we learn we’ve collected data from a child, we’ll delete it.

11) AI usage (editorial)

We may use AI tools to research ideas or assist drafting, but all published content is reviewed and finalized by a human editor. We do not use AI to profile visitors or make automated decisions about individuals. We avoid sending personal data to AI tools; if you email us, we won’t feed your personal information into AI systems without first anonymizing it or obtaining permission.

12) Changes to this Policy

If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where required, provide additional notice.
